Lavender release meditation. To help you release these items before the holidays, and make room for the new, try this lavender meditation. Everything is energy, including emotions and physical items in your environment or closets. Holding on to items with sentimental value may be causing emotional stress in ways you are not consciously aware of. For example, if you have gifts given to you by a previous romantic partner or spouse, but you’re no longer with that person, it’s healthy to let go of these items energetically, so that you open up yourself to a new relationship, or new things to come in the new year.
To release the item, do this: Close your eyes and visualize the item surrounded with a beautiful lavender light. Then picture the space it occupies, and imagine how beautiful it will look without the energy of the past. Ask yourself “Who would beneﬁt from this item?” “Does it want to serve someone or some new place?” After meditating for a few
moments, take action on the answer you received and place it in a give-away box. Bless it with love and lavender. Even if your answer seems to be to “keep it,” wash it in lavender soap, and place it in a fresh new container. This will create fresh new energy and release the stagnant energy it has been carrying.
